Data controller

This notice is issued by Fortimor Yazılım A.Ş., Ankara, Türkiye, as data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“the Law”).

Personal data we process and why

We process the identity and contact details of prospective and existing clients and their representatives, the records of our correspondence with them, and the technical data described in our Privacy Policy. We process this data to respond to enquiries, to prepare and perform contracts, to meet our legal obligations, and to keep this website secure.

Legal bases

Processing rests on the conditions in Article 5 of the Law: the performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, the legitimate interests of the data controller where your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed, and your explicit consent where none of the other conditions applies.

How data is collected

Personal data is collected electronically through email and this website, and in writing or verbally in meetings and calls.

Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to the domestic service providers we rely on for hosting, email and accounting, and to authorised public institutions when the law requires. Where a provider’s servers are located abroad, the transfer is made under the safeguards of Article 9 of the Law.

Retention

Personal data is kept for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the periods prescribed by the applicable legislation, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights under Article 11

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed; to request information about it; to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly; to know the third parties it is transferred to, in Türkiye or abroad; to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7; to ask that such corrections or deletions be notified to recipients; to object to a result that arises from automated analysis and is against you; and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Applications may be made in writing to our registered address or by email to info@fortimor.com, with information sufficient to verify your identity. We respond as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, free of charge.
